Anything but DnD Plays Old Gods of Appalachia, Prologue

We are playing the RPG Old Gods of Appalachia, based on the horror anthology podcast of the same name. It utilizes the Cypher system from Monte Cook Games.
At the table is Lisha as Ira the Shifty Sage who Knows the Unknowable, Zach as Floyd the Brash Sage who Cures What Ails Ya, James as W.E. the Superstitious Explorer who Cannot Escape the Darkness, and Jordan as Zoah the Clever Explorer who Calls Home the Hounds.
Many years ago, as children, a close friend, Ossie, died in a bizarre accident. With the aid of a strange entity, they all agreed to owe the entity if it brought Ossie back to life. Many years later, Ossie has died for a second time. And what was owed, is about to come due.

Anything but DnD plays The One Ring, Adventure 1-2

For this short campaign, the players find themselves in Middle-earth! We are playing The One Ring, second edition, by Free League Publishing. This first adventure finds us meeting our player-heroes as they try help a young man from Bree, get wrapped in an adventure to find TWO family treasures and find themselves in way over their heads in a valley in the Weather Hills. At the table today is Kendra (insta: kendraislost) as Lif, the Barding Scholar, Russ as Isembold Took, the Hobbit Treasure Hunter, Dan as Ornan, a Woodman of Wilderland Warden, and Zach as Fincallan, the Elf of Lindon Champion. Dorreen is your Loremaster for this adventure.

Anything but DnD learns to play the Nordic horror game, Vaesen by Free League Publishing.
The system uses the Year Zero Engine and has a simple but elegant, easy to grasp gameplay and character creation that makes it easy for anyone to learn. Plus, the backdrop of industrial age to the setting gives it such a fun flavor to hunting down the supernatural creatures called vaesen.
